Ambassador Jones Talks to Polish Students from Action Diplomacy Group

On April 16, Ambassador Jones met with 20 students from Action Diplomacy, a university student club organized by the Foreign Affairs Club at the Warsaw School of Economics, to discuss the role of the Embassy, the U.S. and Polish bilateral relationship and to answer questions from the students on a variety of topics including current international affairs.  The project is dedicated to furthering the knowledge of diplomacy, business and geopolitics among students of Polish universities interested in a career in diplomacy and international relations.  Joining Ambassador Jones were diplomats from the political, economic and public affairs sections who provided additional background to the students about life in an embassy and as a diplomat.  Ambassador Jones highlighted the importance of youth in rejuvenating the relationship between Poland and the United States, mentioning the Embassy’s “One Hundred Years Together” campaign that explains the U.S. role in Poland regaining independence one hundred years ago.
