On March 3 at Carnegie Hall in New York City, Ambassador Mosbacher received the Champion of Advancing Holocaust Memory award from the World Values Network at its 8th Annual Jewish Awards Gala. Other awardees included U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, boxing legend Evander Holyfield, investor and philanthropist Robert Smith, and television host, author, and former judge Jeanine Pirro. Ambassador Mosbacher’s award recognized her commitment to promoting tolerance and combating hate through the U.S. diplomatic mission’s proactive support of Holocaust education and the raising of awareness about Poland’s rich Jewish heritage. David Zaslav, the President & CEO of Discovery INC, presented the award to Ambassador Mosbacher. The Jewish Awards Gala is organized by the World Values Network led by Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, which recognizes individuals who make a global impact in a positive and fulfilling way, and is attended by hundreds of leaders in education, philanthropy, media, politics, and social activism from around the globe. Past honorees have included President Kagame of Rwanda, Nobel Peace Laureate Elie Wiesel, and Pulitzer Prize Winner Bret Stephens, among others.
