This year the U.S. Embassy’s Office of Agricultural Affairs proudly inaugurated its “Ameryka od Kuchni” program to raise awareness about U.S. foods, beverages, and ingredients among Poland’s culinary, retail, HORECA, and food processing stakeholders. Under this program, the Office of Agricultural Affairs coordinates with U.S. food and beverage industry partners to showcase high-quality U.S. products and demonstrate to local culinary, hospitality, food retail, and food processors how U.S. products can help to grow their businesses.
In November, we were thrilled to bring “Ameryka od Kuchni” to Krakow and were honored to be the partner country for the 2018 GastroFood HORECA trade fair. The eight partners exhibiting from the USDA “Ameryka od Kuchni” pavilion talked to over 1,500 visitors, led culinary demonstration at the Masters Kitchen, and participated as panelists in HORECA Talks. Companies exhibiting at the USDA “Ameryka od Kuchni” pavilion collected well over 300 trade leads during the three-day show.
