Event for Industry: Working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District will host an “Event for Industry: Working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,” in Warsaw, Poland on Tuesday, 04 December 2018 at 0830 hours.

PURPOSE: 

USACE Europe District has upcoming construction projects for the U.S. Army (USA), the U.S. Air Force (USAF), the U.S. Navy (USN), the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and other U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Agencies. These projects will be designed to improve infrastructure, and interoperability of U.S. forces with Polish and NATO partners. Projects will be located throughout Poland.

The purpose of this event is the following:

  1. Provide overview and general information for USACE design-build (DB) and design-bid-build (DBB) construction projects in Poland.
  2. Share information on how to work with the USACE on projects in Poland.
  3. Allow for Question and Answer session.
  4. Provide networking opportunity for contractors and subcontractors.

USACE plans to establish various contracts. The USACE anticipates various contract types, including Multiple Award Task Order Construction Contracts (MATOCs), a Job Order Contract (JOC) and stand-alone C-Type contracts for various projects in Poland.

PRE-REGISTRATION:

There is not cost for attendance. All interested attendees must pre-register for the event by e-mailing Allison Blount at allison.m.blount@usace.army.mil referencing “USACE Poland”.

Interested parties must email by Wednesday, 28 November 2018 and include name (First & Last), Passport # & Country of Passport, company, day-time telephone number, e-mail address and your reason for attending (i.e. Prime Contractor, Subcontractor, etc.). Participants are limited two persons per firm.

E-mail requests beyond the due date will not be accepted. Telephone requests will not be accepted. Those interested attendees not pre-registered will not be admitted to the conference.
