100 Years Together- Ambassador Jones Gives Remarks at Batory High School Graduation

As part of the Batory High School’s end-of-year celebrations on June 22, Ambassador Jones spoke to students at one of the oldest and most prestigious high schools in Warsaw, highlighting the role the United States played in helping Poland regain independence 100 years ago.  Ambassador Jones also discussed the longstanding bilateral relationship between Poland and the United States as well as shared his experiences in Poland, stating “every day I get to serve in Poland is a great day.”

Batory High School is also celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year and was one of the first schools established in the newly independent Republic of Poland in 1918.  Ambassador Jones encouraged the students to consider studying in the United States and underscored the importance of young Poles in maintaining close ties between Poland and the United States now and in the future.
