On June 5, Professor Robert Blobaum of West Virginia University spoke to a group of international relations and cultural diplomacy students at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Professor Blobaum is a U.S. historian who researches Polish history around the time of World War I and he presented American views on the war and Poland regaining its statehood.
The U.S. Embassy organized Professor Blobaum’s lecture as part of 100 Lat Razem: People, History, and Future – the U.S. diplomatic mission in Poland’s ongoing celebration of the 100th anniversary of Polish independence and American support for Poland’s rebirth a century ago.
