Ambassador Paul Jones met with cadets from US Army Military Academy at West Point on the 17th of March. The group of cadets, is actually a West Point club, called: the “Kosciuszko Squadron” (KS). It is is an association of West Point cadets who explore and enjoy their Polish heritage and welcome others on their journey of discovery, while also increasing the West Point community’s knowledge of General Tadeusz Kosciuszko, Poland, and the contributions of Polish-Americans to the United States, particularly in military endeavors.
Year 2017 is the Year of General Tadeusz Kosciuszko, and the US Embassy, is very proud to have this group of future US Army officers visiting Poland to develop a deeper understanding of this nation and its close relationship with the United States.
