Lieutenant Colonel Jarin Thayn, U.S. Air Attaché, took part in the ceremonial opening of the exhibition “Belarusians in the Polish Army 1939-1945.” The exhibition was inaugurated in the Museum of the X Pavilion of the Warsaw Citadel, which is a branch of the Independence Museum. The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Defense and the military diplomatic corps.
The exhibition consists of 13 boards and original memorabilia of the Polish Army in the Borderlands collected by Belarusian historian Igor Mielnikow. The exhibition is open to visitors through the month of March.
