City Game “Poles and Americans – 100 Years Together” Generates Excitement about Polish-American Shared History

On December 8th, the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow organized “Poles and Americans – 100 Years Together”, a scavenger hunt-type City Game, highlighting the centennial of U.S.-Polish relations. Over 70 participants turned out on Saturday for a team building activity where players had to find hidden places and complete designated tasks, by using a series of clues. The tasks required participants to explore Krakow in search of landmarks and historical places which reinforced ties between the United States and Poland. The final quiz was based on information found on a specially-designed website celebrating the Polish–American Centennial (http://100latrazem.pl/), presenting the timeline of our shared history. Consul General B. Bix Aliu awarded the first-place winners and congratulated everyone for their efforts at the conclusion of the 4-hour scavenger hunt that finished at Kopiec Kościuszki, a special place for both nations.
