City Game “Poles and Americans – 100 Years Together” in Katowice

City Game in Katowice

On October 19th, the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow in cooperation with the American Corner at Silesian University organized “City Game” in Katowice, a scavenger hunt style event.  The competitive event highlighted the strength of U.S.-Polish relations. Over 70 participants turned out on Saturday for a team building activity where players had to find hidden places and complete designated tasks, by using a series of clues. The tasks required participants to explore Katowice, visit landmarks and historical places which reinforced ties between the United States and Poland. Public Affairs Staff awarded the winners and congratulated everyone for their efforts at the conclusion of the 3-hour scavenger hunt. The event ended with popcorn and refreshments as competitors socialized with American Corner and Consulate Staff.
