Ambassador Georgette Mosbacher delivered remarks during a 9/11 commemorative ceremony in Skaryszewski Park, Warsaw, organized by the District of Praga-Poludnie and co-hosted by District Mayor Tomasz Kucharski (Burmistrz Dzielnicy Praga-Południe) and Chairman of the Praga-Poludnie District Council Marcin Klus. During her remarks, Ambassador Mosbacher read a statement by the White House commemorating the date: “The passage of time cannot ever lessen our commitment to freedom, our heartbreak for those who perished, our compassion for those who lost a friend or loved one, and our gratitude for the first responders and other heroes who braved death to save so many.” Ambassador Mosbacher also laid a wreath at a 9/11 monument in the park recognizing the Polish victims of the attacks.
