You, our followers, recently helped the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw top 100,000 followers on Facebook. LOT Polish Airlines also recently launched a direct flight from Warsaw to Los Angeles.
So…we thought to ourselves, why not join forces and thank our loyal followers and customers with a new, exciting contest where you can win amazing prizes. The first place winner will receive a flight voucher which can be used as a round trip ticket for two from Warsaw to Los Angeles.
What should you do to spend an unforgettable vacation in California? It’s simple! Just follow these three steps.
- Prepare a short video clip (max.1 minute long) where you will show us why would you like to visit California.
- Upload your video on your Facebook profile with the hashtags #MyLAStory and #FlyLOTtoLA in the video description. Remember that you should change your post privacy settings to a public one just for this video,. otherwise we will not not be able to see it.
- Send us the link to your video via e-mail to: MyLAStory@america.gov. The email should include:
- Contestant’s name,
- Surname,
- Cellphone number,
- E-mail address,
- Place of residence (the actual address),
- Date of birth,
- Written statement: “The passport I own would not expire over the next 12 months, starting from the beginning date of the contest. I understand and agree to the terms and conditions of the contest.”
We are accepting the submissions until August 14, 2017, 23:59 p.m.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please note, you must be a Polish citizen to participate in this contest. At the time of submission, the contestant’s passport must be valid at least for the next 12 months. Should you win the two roundtrip ticket, your passport must be valid for at least 12-month AND you must either have a valid U.S. visa or successfully apply for a visa for both the winner and plus one. Jury
The jury will include 7 people (including U.S. Embassy Warsaw and LOT Polish Airlines employees.
Awards
- The 1st place winner will be given a roundtrip voucher for two from— Warsaw to Los Angeles.
The 2nd place winner will receive an iPad Pro. - The 3rd place winner will receive a Dreamliner B 787 plane model and a book.
- Winners 4th through 10th will be honored with a surprise gift pack.
Deadline
Submissions can be submitted between July 8, 2017 (10.00 a.m. Central European Time) to August 14, 2017 (23:59 p.m. Central European Time). All the winners will be announced on the U.S. Embassy’s Facebook webpage and LOT Polish Airlines LOT on Tuesday, September 12, 2017
