Demonstration Alert – U.S. Consulate General, Krakow (December 8, 2023)

Location:  Poland – Central Krakow Area

Event:  On Saturday, December 9, 2023, beginning at 15:00, Krakow Police have provided a permit for a “Solidarity with the People of Gaza” demonstration beginning in the area of the Krakow main square and proceeding to the U.S. Consulate General located on Stolarska street.  The approved demonstration permit is for 300 people and Krakow Police will be present throughout the event.  The U.S. Consulate General will be closed at the time of the demonstration.

We encourage U.S. citizens to review our Worldwide Caution.  U.S. citizens are strongly encouraged to maintain a high level of vigilance and practice good situational awareness when traveling abroad especially during holiday festivals or public events.
