Location: Katowice, from Plac Wolności to the train station, passing along Sokolska, Morcinka, Korfantego, Skargi, Stawowa, and ending at Plac Szewczyka. The march will pass directly in front of the COP24 Conference site.
Event: Demonstration, the “March for Climate,” is expected to take place on December 8, 2018 with participants gathering at Plac Wolności at approximately 11:00 am, and marching from 12:00-4:00 pm. The demonstration is organized by several environmental organizations who wish to highlight the importance of the environment during the 24th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP24).
