Demonstration Alert – U. S. Embassy, Warsaw (August 10, 2021)
Location: Warsaw
Event: A demonstration will occur in front of the Sejm on Wiejska on August 10, 2021, beginning at approximately 1800 until approximately 2300. The exact number of participants is not known but could be upwards of several thousand. Traffic congestion is expected in downtown Warsaw. While police are not expecting any violence, American citizens are urged to be cautious and take the following actions:
- Avoid crowds and demonstrations.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
- Keep a low profile.
- Monitor local media for updates.
