Demonstration Alert – U.S. Embassy, Warsaw (September 14, 2023)

Location: Downtown Warsaw, from Plac Defilad to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, by way of the Sejm.

Event: The Embassy has learned that a demonstration will take place Friday, September 15, 2023, between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m.  Organized by the OPZZ and Forum Związków Zawodowych trade unions, this demonstration is expected to consist of approximately 20,000 people.  Police expect the demonstration to be peaceful.  However, anyone traveling in or near the march’s pathway should expect serious traffic congestion and significant delays.
