April 8 hosted the second event within the Embassy In Focus. Polish American Speaker Series at the American Center Warsaw. The event featured Eben Schwartz, Marine Program Manager of the California Coastal Commission as the expert who talked to the invited audience about sources and impact of plastic pollution and marine debris, the Commission’s Clean Up Day – the biggest state volunteer initiative to clean the ocean and the shores, as well as educational programs, initiatives and state regulations to reduce plastic pollution.
The event was part of Mr. Schwart’z U.S. Speaker Program in Poland where he spoke to Polish audiences in Warsaw, Gdańsk and Gdynia.
