The American Information Resource Center (AIRC) is located in the U.S. Consulate General in Krakow. Its mission is to provide timely, reliable and comprehensive information on U.S. foreign policy, economic and trade issues, U.S. domestic issues and American society and culture.
AIRC’s bimonthly publication: Zoom in on America. American Information Resource Center at the US Consulate in Krakow publishes a bimonthly online newsletter for the learners of English Zoom in on America, where you can find articles and photos presenting a variety of issues connected with American life, tradition, culture and nature. There is an activity page including grammar and vocabulary exercises as well as a glossary. Zoom contests offer a chance to win albums and books about the United States. Become our subscriber and you will receive an e-mail informing you that a new issue is available on-line or, if you want, we will send you the issue in the pdf format as an attachment to an e-mail.
