The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw has a requirement to purchase two each premium class Sport Utility Vehicles. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 19PL9020Q0023 and is issued as a Request for Quotation. The solicitation/contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-55.

Vehicle specifications:

– engine min 2 li, min 250 HP, gasoline, automatic transmission, 4WD or AWD

– vehicle dimensions min 4600 mm length, minimum 2800 mm wheelbase, 5 seats

– body color metallic, one dark blue or similar, second black or similar

– power mirrors/windows, 2 zone AC with air vents in the back seat row , audio system, BT.

– second row 60/40 split

– keyless access

– alloy wheel rims, all season tires

– Maintenance service under warranty and post warranty service must be available with a local authorized dealership

Offers (in English) are due by 12.00 p.m. (Warsaw time), Thursday, August 20th, 2020. Solicitation Number 19PL9020R0001 – Life Insurance to Locally Employed Staff

The Embassy of the United States of America invites all responsible sources to submit a proposal for customized Group Life Insurance to Local Employees of the Government of the United States of America in Poland.

The U.S. Government intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for the period of one year plus four renewal options.  We estimate that about 270 employees will be interested in enrollment to the Group Life Insurance Benefit Plan supported by the prospective contract.   Participation will be voluntary and the Embassy will cover 100% of the premium rates.

No proposal will be accepted after this date.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to a responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price.  We intend to award a contract based on initial proposals, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.

The Embassy of the United States in Poland will launch the solicitation via the https://pl.usembassy.gov/ after May 25, 2020. The requirement is for the providing of life insurance services to the locally employed staff of the U.S. Mission to Poland. The estimated number of employees is 385. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer. All prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals to System for Award Management (SAM), as required pursuant to FAR provision 5.207.
