Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC)

The U.S. Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) Poland is responsible to the U.S. Ambassador to Poland and the Commander, U.S. European Command for administering all Security Assistance, International Armaments Cooperation and certain military to military programs in Poland.

Security Assistance includes Foreign Military Sales of U.S. defense equipment, services, and training and the management of the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) and International Military Education and Training (IMET) grant funding.

International Armaments Cooperation (IAC) includes cooperation on military-related research, development, testing, evaluation, and acquisition as well as facilitates contacts between the two countries’ defense organizations through a variety of international agreements.

The Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) is responsible for promoting, developing, coordinating and executing the following programs with the Republic of Poland:

  • International Military Education and Training (IMET)
  • Excess Defense Articles (EDA)
  • International Armaments Cooperation (IAC)

  • State Partnership Program (SPP)
  • International Defense Industry Exhibition
  • Counter Terrorism Fellowship Program (CTFP)
