Location: U.S. Embassy Warsaw
Event: The Embassy is conducting a full-scale crisis management exercise at approximately 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 8. The exercise is anticipated to last one hour and thirty minutes and will disrupt normal Embassy operations.
The public should avoid the area around the Embassy compound during the exercise. Marked police cars and uniformed officers will cordon off sidewalks adjacent to the Embassy. Vehicle traffic will still be permitted on Al. Ujazdowskie and Piekna, but there may be disruptions to the buses that operate on Piekna. Unless otherwise informed, any ongoing situation at the Embassy is part of the exercise.
As always, in case of an emergency involving a U.S. citizen, contact the Embassy as specified below.

· Be aware of your surroundings.
· Monitor local media for updates.
· Enroll in Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive security updates.
