The Executive Director, Staff, and Polish and U.S. Members of the Board of Directors of the Fulbright Commission

On March 29 in Warsaw, the Executive Director, staff, and members of the Board of Directors of the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission honored the service of two departing members, Polish board member Professor Marek Wierzbowski from Warsaw University’s School of Law and American board member Judith Gliniecki, the General Counsel of CEE Equity Partners.  Both distinguished board members served two back-to-back three year terms.  In letters of appreciation to the departing members, Ambassador Mosbacher thanked them for “playing such a vital role in guiding the Fulbright Program these last six years, ensuring the program’s abiding strength, diversity, and success.”  At the recent gala organized by the Fulbright Commission to honor the 60th anniversary of Poland’s Fulbright Program, Secretary of State Michael Pompeo stated in his congratulatory letter that “Due to the outstanding work of the Commission and other partners, the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Program serves as a model for Fulbright programs around the world.”  The U.S. Embassy would like to take this opportunity to wish the departing members all the best in their future endeavors.
