The U.S. Embassy Running Club, “Vistula Runners,” participated in a “Welcome Spring Fun Run!” alongside colleagues from the Ministry of Defense and the Warsaw Attache Association. Taking place in Park Pola Mokotowska, Fun Run included six visiting members of West Point’s “Kosciuszko Squadron.” The Vistula Runners and friends were honored to have our U.S. Army cadets join the run during their week-long orientation visit to Poland! The Kosciuszko Squadron is a volunteer organization at the US Army Military Academy in West Point, New York, whose mission is to promote Polish Culture and History among cadets. Additionally, the group participates and supports many Polonia events in the United States.
