This summer, from June 22 to 24, the United States will host the 7th annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Silicon Valley. In bringing the Summit back to the United States, President Obama highlights his commitment to building bridges that help us tackle global challenges together.
We’re proud that two leading young Polish innovators will attend:
Pawel Nowicki, the CEO and President of BTM (BioTechMed) Innovations, a non-profit company supporting commercialization of research conducted by Polish scientific institutions. Through his work at BTM, Pawel has actively supported many biotechnology startups. Pawel is also a leader of the Poland-U.S. Innovation Program (PLUS-IP), heading the Cluster Subcommittee and is Deputy President of Polish Clusters (Klastry Polskie). Nowicki is also a TOP 500 participant.
Our second participant is Piotr Chmielewski, the founder of Social Media Now (SMN), a leading social marketing agency.
Both of these outstanding innovators are also participants in the Young Transatlantic Innovation Leadership Initiative (YTILI), an international exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State focused on developing entrepreneurial skills and enhancing economic opportunities for young professionals in Europe.
