Webchat “How to Run Your Startup” at the American Center Warsaw

The US Embassy Warsaw hosted a live viewing of the Global Innovation for Science and Technology (GIST) Guru Series’ webchat “How to run your startup,” followed by a discussion moderated by Ali Lada-Gola of GE Europe and the startup BWITH.US, at the American Center Warsaw on January 17.  During the webchat, Ray Crowell, CEO of humble impact, and Melissa Perri, founder of Produx Labs, discussed best practices for running and managing a new startup and took live questions from participants around the world.  After the webchat, Warsaw participants held a lively discussion on several different aspects of starting, running, and growing a startup business in Poland. They covered everything from co-working spaces, different approaches and attitudes of startup managers at different stages of development, bridging the gap between the business and science and technology expert communities when it comes to creating and running a startup, and much more.

The next GIST Guru webchat will be held on Tuesday, February 14.  Please check our US Embassy Warsaw Facebook page for more details, or follow on Twitter at #GISTGuru @GISTNetwork for updates and answers to participant questions from today’s chat!  Starting today [January 18],  this webchat can also be viewed in its entirety at the website www.gistnetwork.org/content/gist-online.
