On September 11 at the Polish Parliament in the heart of Warsaw, Embassy representatives attended the opening of the exhibition “Poland – Homeland of Tolerance” designed by the Global Shapers Warsaw Hub and partially sponsored by the Embassy. The exhibition addresses the diversity of Polish society, past and present, how changes in Polish society have influenced the life of immigrants, and Poland’s relations with other countries, such as the United States. The exhibition also features current immigrants in Poland and their contributions to Poland’s economic, social, and cultural development. The goal of the exhibition is to remind visitors about the historic and present-day diversity of Polish society. Currently it can be viewed in the Polish Parliament and will be shown in other venues in Warsaw and Poland in the coming months. For more information about the exhibition, visit the website http://ojczyznatolerancji.pl/. The Global Shapers Warsaw Hub, a pro bono association that forms part of the international network established by the World Economic Forum, is the initiator of the exhibition. The Global Shapers Community consists of over 8,000 members and 400 hubs worldwide. It gathers young professionals who strive to promote dialogue, action, and change in their local communities.
