American photographer Gordon Parks (1912-2006) began his career in Farm Security Administration, and then worked for „Vogue” and „Life” magazines. Apart from photography, he was a film director, and a writer. His artistic motto was: “I Use My Camera as a Weapon”. This issue of Zoom in on America is about his life and the subjects he focused on in his art.
