Meeting 2019 FLEX Program Participants

On June 26 Public Affairs Section and FLEX implementer American Councils for International Education hosted a group of high school students who are finalists of this year’s edition of FLEX program. This year 43 Polish students from cities and towns around Poland will depart to the U.S. for one academic year to learn in an American high school. The students were in Warsaw for their pre-departure orientation meeting which was held jointly for groups from Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

The FLEX program is to foster cultural ties and mutual understanding between the Polish and American people.  It is fully sponsored by the U.S. government and administered by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) with funding appropriated by the U.S. Congress, coordinated by the American Councils for International Education.
