On Monday, May 22, at 17:00, the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs’ Acting Assistant Secretary John Heffern will host a public webchat focusing on the transatlantic bond between the United States and its European allies. Daniel S. Hamilton, Executive Director of the Center for Transatlantic Relations at Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, will also participate.
During the webchat, the panelists will discuss the character, history, and future of the transatlantic relationship. They will also address how the U.S.-European transatlantic relationship creates a free and peaceful Europe providing stability throughout the North Atlantic.
