Polish-American Innovation Bridge (PAMI) Conference Strengthens Bilateral Innovation Ties

Mission Poland joined the worldwide celebration of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2017 (GEW2017) with several events, including the fourth iteration of its flagship Polish-American Innovation Bridge (PAMI), hailed by Polish radio station RMF.FM as the “the most interesting conference for startups and new entrepreneurs.”  Consulate Krakow partnered with the Creativity and Innovation Lab Foundation (FLIK), Top 500 Innovators’ Association alumni, and other stakeholders from the Polish innovation and startup community to present the two-day “unconference” at Krakow’s state-of-the art technology park which drew over 200 young entrepreneurs and students. CG Walter Braunohler opened the event, which features three experts from the United States: University of Florida Innovator-in-Residence David Whitney, TOP 100 Business Thought Leader John Spence, and California State University leadership expert Daniel Martin. The guest speakers gave inspiring talks on the first day.  On the second day, they will lead mentoring sessions and teach concrete skills, including pitching, public speaking, design thinking and technology transfer.  In the run-up to the conference, the Consulate promoted the event with inspiring videos featuring Consul General Walter Braunohler and U.S. experts.
