From June 15-17, Prawie Kino, a project by the Independent Students’ Association, is sponsoring a three-day film festival in the Small Courtyard at the University of Warsaw (ul. Krakowskie Przedmieście 24). The event begins daily at 21:00. The film festival will showcase masterpieces of world cinema, along with contemporary titles. The three days of the film festival are thematically divided between films taking place in Warsaw, the United States, and Europe.
On Day 2, June 16, the film festival will highlight two American films: Alfred Hitchock’s Rear Window (1954) and Jim Jarmusch’s Only Lovers Left Alive (2013). Each night of the film festival will also feature special guests. The event is open to the public—there is no admission fee.
The U.S. Embassy in Warsaw is proud to partner with Prawie Kino and the Independent Students’ Association to feature this event. Further information about the event can be found here.
