Zoom in to Michal Urbaniak’s latest innovation – an online version of his famous Urbanator Days. For his next gig on Thursday, April 29th at 1800 (Warsaw time), the Urbanator will host a fascinating discussion with Frank Parker, an American jazz drummer twice nominated for a Grammy Award. Parker has performed in the USA, Canada, Europe, South America, Australia and Asia. As a member of various jazz formations, he has played at many jazz festivals around the world! He has collaborated with many Polish musicians, including Michał Urbaniak, Maciej Fortuna, Marcin Pospieszalski and his son Mikołaj Pospieszalski, with whom he played in the band Dagadana. Currently, he is a member of Mike Parker’s Trio Theory and the Frank Parker Project. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to speak with an amazing musician who’s performed jazz with the best of the best! As in past years, the U.S. Embassy is proud to support Urbanator Days. An international jazz star, Michal Urbaniak continues to mentor aspiring musicians, music producers, and budding music professionals, giving them a chance to explore different dimensions of rhythmic music while learning new skills in the process.
