From April 17-26, a jazz ensemble from the United States Air Force Europe Band will tour Poland in support of the U.S. Mission to Poland’s 100 Years Together campaign that celebrates the people-to-people ties that have united Poland and the United States over the last century.
In cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General in Kraków, the group will make a special appearance at the international conference to honor Earth Day at the Babia Góra National Park (April 18) before performing in Rzeszów (April 19) and Kraków (April 20). The USAFE band will then perform in Warsaw at the Royal Łazienki Theater (April 21, tickets can be purchased at the ticket desk, Agrykola 1) and at the Accent Club in Grudziądz (April 24) before concluding with a grand finale concert at the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall (April 26).
This year’s tour, which takes place during Jazz Appreciation Month, will not only highlight the U.S. Mission to Poland’s 100 Years Together campaign. It will also highlight the 75th anniversary of the USAFE Band’s existence in Europe.
