The Interview

After you have completed the steps on the Diversity Visa Process on usvisas.state.gov, including submitting the required immigrant visa application form (DS-260), you may receive an email from the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) to let you know that an interview has been scheduled for you.  The e-mail will instruct you to log into the Entrant Status Check on the Electronic Diversity Visa (E-DV) website, using your DV entry confirmation number, to view the date, time and location of your interview.

You can learn more about the interview process on usvisas.state.gov.

OBLIGATORY REGISTRATION WITH THE GSS SYSTEM FOR RESIDENTS OF POLAND

All IV and DV applicants who reside in Poland have to register with the GSS service and choose their visa pick-up option before coming to the Embassy. Please note that we will not be able to accept your visa applications and supporting documents without the proof of your registration (your UID confirmation number). For registration and selection of your visa pick-up option, please visit www.ustraveldocs.com/pl or call the information line at +48 22 307 1361 in Poland or (703) 988 7101 in the United States. Visas for residents of Poland are returned to applicants by TNT courier service after they register at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/pl/. You can choose either Premium Delivery (for additional 24 PLN paid directly to a TNT courier on delivery to your home address in Poland) or you can select a TNT office pick-up location before you come for your interview.

The TNT delivery option is not available to residents of Belarus. Therefore they do not have to register with the GSS system (except for fiancé visa applicants). Their immigrant visas will be ready for pick-up at the Embassy the next afternoon.
