Webchat: Welcoming Today’s Refugees

Every day in the media we hear stories about refugees running away from their countries because of wars, poverty, and persecution.  Millions of people are leaving their homes in search of a safer tomorrow.  The immigration crisis is one of today’s biggest challenges.  On Tuesday September 13th at 5:00pm we would like to invite you for a webchat with Eskinder Negash from the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants.  During the chat Mr. Negash will talk about what can be done in order for refugees to become an active part of local communities and how they can spur long-term economic growth in hosting countries.  He will be speaking to a live audience in Athens, Greece, and answering questions from viewers from around the world.  Webchat will be available here: http://goo.gl/7UPbvN
